This morning I hear loudly the voice of my Savior longing to comfort us. He is calling us to Himself, begging us to listen. He has the words of comfort we so long to hear. In a day of uncertainty, it’s not enough that we are concerned over our family, we are now worrying over a shaky economy.
I encourage you to turn to Him. Open your Bible. Listen to good, Godly music. Open a book of encouragement. Let HIM speak to you today as He so longs to do. These are the words He gave to me:

8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Selah  Psalm 62:8 (New International Version)

3 But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. 4 I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?  Psalm 56:3-4 (New Living Translation)

8 I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.   Psalm 4:8 (New International Version)

You alone, O Lord, Make me dwell in safety. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 (NKJV)

See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me. Isaiah 49:16 (NIV)

Here is a list of some of my favorite songs. God has spoken loudly to me through each of these and I hope that you too will hear His voice. I have these on my ipod so I can listen to them over and over when I need encouragement. We all need to be reminded at times that our Heavenly Father IS faithful and we are on His mind.
