Prodigal Praise!

January 2nd, 2011 by Linda

We strongly believe in praising God for each miracle. We would love to add your miracle to our praise page if you E-Mail them to us. This is a wonderful way to give hope to parents who are going through a crisis that we have already been through – victoriously. We will use only your first name and state.

I want to share words of encouragements for the parents of prodigals: don’t give up and keep praying!
Our daughter Allison has returned to the Lord after 6 years of denying Jesus. She went off of Facebook for 4 weeks, changed her cell phone number, and has gotten involved in a local church that we know well. She is reading the Bible daily, focusing on her business ( she is self employed doing facials, etc) journals everyday and is committing her life to Jesus! Its an 180 degree turn around from her past life: smoking pot, living with boyfriends, and not working. Allison wants to share Christ with her generation: there are a lot of lost “20” somethings who have no direction.
She has moved back home, threw away two trash barrels full of occult books, posters, music, and etc. She is truly a new creation in Christ and was baptized.
These past years have been very hard, but its amazing to observe the change. There are days when life is hard for her, she lost all of her friends ( they were no good) but God is bringing new ones into her life.
Don’t give up, there is revival happening!
We’re continuing to pray for who are “away from the Lord”

Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful testimony. I’ve been praying for my son and strongly believe God is working in my son’s life. Nothing is impossible with Him.

I praise God for His wonderful work in your family and in Allison.

Satan would have us believe that once the are gone they’re gone for good. But Thank God for His great mercy and compassion.
A dear friend reminded me today in church there is a reason God put the story of the prodigal son in the Bible. He knew many of His faithful would have to deal with this situation! Praise His Holy Name. Thank you for praying for our son Mike, and it would be my privilege to pray for your children. God bless you!

What a beautiful story of HOPE and REDEMPTION. God is so good. “The descendants of the righteous will be delivered.” Proverbs 11:21 Praise His Holy name. I am rejoicing with you! Amen and Amen.
