We want you to KNOW:

  • We Love YOU and always will!
  • We know we made mistakes as parents but did the best we knew how to do.
  • We’re here for you.
  • God loves you and He knows exactly where you are – He will never leave you.

Written by a Prodigal

Faith like a pebble,

It almost broke my heart.

I was a blind fool

Unable to feel love.

In a moment of truth

And unbearable pain.

I threw my pebble to the sky

Then turned to walk away.

Love like a flood nearly

washed me away.

My heart responding to

It’s Master’s call

Felt full like its never felt before.

To feel that love after

A lifetime of pain.

Was an experience too great

To relate without real tears.

Tears of pure joy.

Jesus did it to me,

He caught my tiny pebble

Then showed true love to me.

I can’t express completely

What I feel, emotion too

Great for words.

I write this poem to

Keep the memory alive…

True love lives on forever.

ST – a  former prodigal

Notes from Family

From a Father’s Heart
As the father of 4 prodigals, I realized that in trying to preserve my children from a destructive world full of drugs, sexual tragedies, and bondage to sin and Satan disguised as “doing your own thing”, I drove my children away. Christianity became a list of do’s and don’ts, instead of a living relationship with Jesus as their Saviour and God as their Father.

But God is a perfect Father and no one has more prodigals than God. You may think you are running away from your parents but why are you running away from God?

Here is the measure of God’s love for you, dear prodigal: knowing that Jesus would be spit on, beaten, hated, and nailed to a cross, God sent Him down here, the eternal Son of God from eternity, to tell people how much God loves them, and then go to the cross to prove it. “He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all…” Roms 8 And that’s not all – out of love for you, the sin hating God chose to place all of your sins on Jesus and punished each and every one of them, so that you might be forgiven!

Perhaps you are out there feeding on the garbage that only pigs eat. Turn to the Lord now – His love is still the same – He will still forgive you if you will only turn to Him. When the father in Luke 15 saw his prodigal afar off, He ran, fell on his neck and covered him with kisses. God is waiting in patient love to welcome you back. God didn’t leave, you did.

To Our Precious Grandchild,
From the day you were born we loved you and began to pray for you. You always had special gifts and many talents, full of life and out to change the world. We took care of you when you were sick, watched you play ball, build forts, and become the wonderful person you are. We have an investment in your life – many wonderful memories, and pray for many more. We want you to know that our love is unconditional. We will always love you and we will always pray for you.
Your Loving Grandparents

To my Dear Daughter,
You had many dreams and plans. Are you happy? We used to be so close – friends even. What happened to us? My heart will always have that special bond with you – we had a tough beginning – almost lost you, but you were committed to God then and will always remain. God promised He would always be with you – and I know that He IS.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
Psalm 46:5

We want you to know that we love you and ALWAYS will. We want to be a part of your life and we’re here – always.
Your Parents

Our Prayer For You
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you – standing in the gap for our children. Lord, only you know what they are feeling right now. We pray that you would speak to their heart and mind – draw them to You now, through all they are going through. We pray they would be desperate for You – You alone, Lord are their hope and salvation. Help them to feel your unconditional love and the unconditional love of their parents. We commit our children into your hands now Lord, knowing that YOU ARE FAITHFUL! We Trust and we wait…. In Jesus Name
